Welcome to Faithetic Skin Lab 🧪—where results-driven skincare meets intentional care. I’m Imani, a 23 year old licensed esthetician 👩🏻‍🔬 based in Zebulon North Carolina, and I created this space to bring a more advanced, personalized approach to skincare and full body waxing to the area. My passion for skincare started with my own journey. I struggled with skin concerns from a young age, constantly trying different products and routines to find what worked. At one point, I was placed on birth control in my early teens to help manage my skin, and stayed on it for years. When I eventually came off, I had to relearn my skin and my body, navigating hormonal changes and rebuilding my skin from the inside out. As I was going through puberty, I also began dealing with unwanted hair and didn’t know how to properly care for my skin. I found myself shaving weekly or biweekly, often causing irritation and cuts, and using hair removal creams that sometimes left my skin burned and sensitive. In trying to maintain smooth skin, I was left dealing with hyperpigmentation, ingrown hairs, and razor bumps especially in more intimate areas. That’s what led me to waxing. I started getting waxed in high school and eventually began maintaining it myself to stay consistent. Over time, I learned proper techniques, aftercare, and how to truly care for the skin before and after hair removal transforming something that once made me feel insecure into a routine that made me feel confident and comfortable in my skin. These experiences shaped my approach to skincare today. I focus on barrier-first, results-driven treatments that prioritize long-term skin health over quick fixes, while also considering the role of hydration, lifestyle, and consistency. Every service is customized with intention, creating a space where you can feel confident, cared for, and understood.
